Envision Day

Envision is a bespoke theatre-going experience for Blind and Visually impaired young people.

We’re excited to announce our next Family Envision day will be to The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium on Wednesday 23 August @ 7pm

The day includes

  • Creative theatre workshop for the whole family to enjoy. This will take place in an accessible space near the theatre
 
  • On-stage Touch Tour to handle set, props and costumes
  
  • Watching the 7pm performance of The Wizard of Oz with Audio Description

Featuring the iconic original score from the Oscar-winning MGM film including, Over The Rainbow, Follow The Yellow Brick Road and We’re Off To See The Wizard with additional songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, this spectacular production will be a magical experience for all the family.

Join Dorothy and Toto on an unforgettable adventure as they are swept over the rainbow to the merry old land of Oz.

Key information

  • Date: Wednesday 23rd August.

        • 3pm: Arrive at Seven Dials Playhouse, 1A Tower Street, London, WC2H 9NP The venue has step free access.

        3:15 – 4:45pm: Family theatre workshop exploring characters and themes from The Wizard of Oz. 

        Dinner break - make own way to London Palladium, Argyll Street, London, W1F 7TF (15 minute walk from workshop venue).

        6 – 6:20pm: Touch Tour on stage at The London Palladium. 

        7pm: Performance of The Wizard of Oz with Audio Description.

        9:20pm: Performance ends.

        AGE RECOMMENDATION 6+

        Please be aware the production contains flashing lights and loud sounds.

  • Cost: Tickets are £15 per person.
