Go Live Fortnight trip to the immersive Jury Duty

Friday 17 May

7pm

Theatre Deli (Leadenhall Street, London)
You have been summoned for a new kind of trial. You and your fellow jurors must review the evidence, speak to the accused, and come to a conclusion. Is he guilty or not guilty? And is there more to this case than meets the eye?

The case
Harry Briggs has been charged with arson, manslaughter, and murder. He admits the arson, but has pled Not Guilty to manslaughter and murder. Under the Justice Act 2021, it is your job as a jury not only to look at the evidence, but also to interrogate the Defendant yourselves. Can you determine what happened on the night in question?

Jury Duty players are invited to join other players at a central London office location to take part in a new form of jury service. Live actors greet them and will assist, but not guide, their deliberations.

Players are presented with physical evidence, sworn statements, and a computer database relating to a fictional crime. Players interrogate a Defendant several times, and are encouraged to cross-reference with the evidence.

When the time is up, players are asked to vote on their verdict!

The game lasts 90 minutes. For more information and FAQs about the experience, click here.

Book Your Tickets Here

2. If tickets are sold out you can join the waiting list in case tickets are returned by emailing andreas@golivetheatre.org.uk
3. Please behave in an appropriate manner at the game and refrain from using mobile phones and talking during the show. Inappropriate behaviour may cause us to not be given ticket offers in the future.
4. You can only book a maximum of 2 tickets per person. Your guest must be within the same age range and ID’s are checked on collection. Parents are not allowed to attend unless they are your carer.
5. Tickets are non refundable. If we have a waiting list we can try to resell them and then refund you (with enough notice, and minus the booking fee) – this is, however, not guaranteed. If you are unable to attend the performance, you must let us know as soon as possible.
6. By not informing us that you are unable to attend after booking could be taking the opportunity away from a young person who would otherwise not be able to afford to go to the theatre.
7. Members of the Go Live Theatre Projects team and Youth Forum will be at the venue ready to greet and issue your tickets from 45 minutes prior to the performance starts. Please allow plenty of time and remember to bring a valid ID proving your date of birth. If you are running late for any reason please let us know so we can leave your tickets at the box office.
