PlayXray

Led by theatre professionals, Play X-ray is designed to prepare GCSE Drama teachers with the knowledge they need to help their students excel in their Live Theatre Production Review exam.

Designed specifically to meet the needs of the GCSE Drama curriculum, our Play X-ray project includes:

A visit to see Mischief Comedy’s Olivier Award-winning show The Play That Goes Wrong

An intensive all-day Teacher CPD session with members of The Play That Goes Wrong team, exploring the acting, design, lighting, sound, and direction in the show

A comprehensive student resource pack unpacking the production

PlayXray meets the following curriculum areas:

 
  • AQA – Understanding Drama: Live Theatre Production
  • Edexcel – Theatre Makers in Practice: Live Theatre Evaluation
  • OCR – Performance & Response: Live Theatre Performance
  • WJEC – Interpreting Theatre: Live Theatre Review
