Artwork of Romeo and Juliet - an image of two yong people sitting on a wall with graffiti looking at the sky. Text reads ROMEO AND JULIET Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank.
Experience a bold new production of Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank: Romeo and Juliet in the Globe Theatre. This fast-paced, 90-minute version is created especially for young people and is the perfect introduction to Shakespeare for everyone.

Set in 2024, this is the most famous story about teenagers ever told: their intense passion lights up a world of increasing violence between rival gangs, the Montagues and the Capulets.

Caught in the spiral of hate and revenge, Romeo and Juliet connect across enemy lines. Can they break free of the bloodshed and find hope for a different future?

This is a project for school groups working with young people aged 11-18 who are D/deaf or hard of hearing.
