Summer Stage

Summer Stage is a low-cost Performing Arts summer school for young people aged 13 to 17.

Over the course of 5 days, you will work together to create an original piece of theatre which is showcased at the end of the week.

You also get to see a top West End show too!

Applications for 2024 have now closed. If you want to take part next year, please contact layne@golivetheatre.org.uk

Young Creatives

New to drama?

This could be for you!

Our Young Creatives programme is for young people who are brand-new to taking part in drama projects and want to try it out in a fun and supportive environment. We welcome young people who might have mild to moderate learning needs or access requirements.

Over the course of the programme, you will gain valuable experience of performing and focus on developing skills such as confidence, creativity and communication. We also offer a Welcome Workshop for young people to meet their peers and try out some fun activities before the programme begins.

Young Performers

Love performing?

Come and develop your skills!

Our Young Performers programme is designed for those with a bit more experience of Performing Arts or Drama – e.g. those who have taken part in school plays, one of our projects or are a member of a theatre club. The focus of this programme is to help you develop your confidence, performance and collaboration skills.

Cost

There is a nominal fee charged for each programme which includes:

  • Drama workshops led my industry professionals
  • A sandwich lunch
  • A ticket to see a West End show (with the rest of the group)

Each year we have a limited number of full or part funded bursary places available.

Eligibility

Summer Stage is aimed at young people aged 13 to 17 who might not otherwise have the opportunity to take part in a performing arts summer school.
